What it does
A free comic reader that opens your comic files and lets you read them like a book — zoom in, move around, and follow the story panel by panel. Your files never leave your device — nothing gets uploaded anywhere.
How to use
✨ The most fun way to read
Once your comic is open, glide your cursor over any speech bubble — the magnifier follows you and zooms right into the text. It feels like magic.
- Add your comic — drop the file onto the screen, or click to browse. CBZ, CBR, PDF, and EPUB all work.
- Turn pages — use the arrow keys on your keyboard or the on-screen buttons.
- Zoom & move around — scroll your mouse wheel (or pinch on a touchscreen) to zoom; drag with your mouse, or swipe with two fingers to move around.
- Optional smart reading — turn on the “AI detector” to highlight speech bubbles. After it finishes scanning, glide your mouse over any bubble and it will zoom in on it automatically — this is the more natural way to read. Prefer hands-free? Press the Space bar to jump from bubble to bubble in reading order.
💡 First time with AI?
After you open a comic, the AI button in the toolbar will glow blue the first time. Tap it to automatically find and highlight the speech bubbles — then hover any bubble to zoom in, or press Space to read bubble by bubble.
Please keep in mind
- Very large comics (especially big CBR files) can use a lot of memory and may crash the tab — try smaller files if this happens.
- AI detection downloads a small helper the first time (~3 MB, plus a bigger one ~44 MB only when needed) and uses extra memory on long books.
- The first AI scan of a page can take a few seconds.
- If the tab ever freezes, just refresh the page and reopen your file — nothing was lost or uploaded.
